To determine which type of martini glass will best suit the occasion you can think about the environment where you will be using it. Is it a glass-restricted area like a pool? If it is for your home, will any children be around that might be able to knock things over? Is there hardwood flooring throughout the home? Or, you can always have an "everyday set" made of plastic, and a "good set" made of glass for special occasions.
