  All about us

Martinis and everything martini related is what we are all about!

Our Martini Recipes & Glasses website (www.MartiniArt.com) is operated under the Michigan based company, MartiniArt LLC. In 1995, we opened an upscale decor retail store in suburban Illinois and shortly after, launched our first retail website. The concept of a martini devoted website grew out of an obsession with tasting new and unique martinis, and eventually a thirst for martini experimentation. Early on, we made a hobby out of photographing cool martini glasses and cocktail shakers. Most of the photos ended up as gifts for friends, but a few ended up framed and sold through our retail store. We just knew that it wouldn't be long until we would launch this website.

Equipped with a load of martini glasses, shakers, barware, recipe books, swanky cocktail music and original martini art we were almost ready to go. We were missing a critical component--a real martini experimentation workshop. To fill the need, we assembled our mission critical martini laboratory stocked with plenty of liquid, lots of olives and other essentials on the quest to develop amazing martini recipes. We spend a great deal of time mixing, tasting and mixing again. We try our recipes with a number of different brands and measures until we are satisfied that we've hit upon the right mix to present on our martini recipe pages.

MartiniArt LLC is based in the Irish Hills area of South Western Michigan. Our office is on a beautiful lakefront, and we are a quick ride from the Ann Arbor area (home of the University of Michigan). Everyone here has a wealth of experience in customer service, and we would love to earn your business. We will do everything we can to make sure that your shopping experience is the best.

A little about these martini mad folks

Meet the Martini Guy...Martini recipes & glasses martiniguy

Jerry is the MartiniGuy and the idea-guy behind our company. Jerry is our martini obsessed mixologist, researcher, martini artist and web stylist. His main job at MartiniArt LLC is to make sure everything runs smooth, and tastes smooth.

If you need some information, a special recipes or need to chat about something martini related, you might be talking (or typing) with Jerry. In his free time, Jerry paces around the office in his orange Puma tennies, dreaming about driving the Batmobile (yes, the original).

Meet the Martini Girl...Martinigirl at MartiniArt.com

Linda is the MartiniGirl and the business leader, and she's the one you'll find "holdin' it down." With a ton of retail business skills in tow, Linda races from trade show to trade show searching for new and unique martini goodies.

Linda organizes and sets up all of our internal inventory systems and all of that other stuff like our accounting procedures. If it has to do with the numbers--it's Linda's area. It is surprising that someone so skilled with numbers and organization, would be such a gifted artist and interior design freak. Linda loves Cosmopolitans and dirty martinis, and has developed quite a taste for bleu cheese stuffed olives.

Meet the martini team...The customer service folks at MartiniArt.com

Customer service and the Flying Martini Elves (or, Martini Elvises as they've been called) are a very dedicated, martini loving group of folks. Our behind the scenes team can be found answering phones, packing orders, and making sure everything is where it is supposed to be (when it is supposed to be there). Most of these folks can also be found playing classic video games.
