American Martini a Soulful Memory
This martini glass picture is based on the original photo that inspired the creation of our Martini Glasses & Recipes web site. I (MartiniGuy) was stranded at an airport in Iowa during the morning of September 11, 2001. I understand that we "all" felt something, and there is not a person in this nation that was not affected by the events of that day. While not trying to be the least bit smarmy, I felt the need to do "something." During the next few days, I did much more good (relative to the disasterous events) than play with martini pictures, but this was "in essence," the net outcome for me. This picture is a framed 5 x 7 of the original martini glass photo with a subtle American flag overlay. There are only a few of these, and each one is signed, and includes a personal thought about that day and the events surrounding it. The first 3 orders will receive a black frame as pictured; any following orders will receive an available (equally as cool) frame. |
