 The Cosmopolitan martini, or simply, the "Cosmo" has become a very popular drink indeed. Any well heeled & well prepared martini mix-master has got to be able to shake up at least a few different variations at a moments notice.
Dont be caught unaware when a stunning young lady, or dashing young fellow asks you to mix up a Cosmo - especially when they leave it up to you to show them the best you've got.
The Cosmo (like the martini) has morphed info a playful arena of flavors, textures and colors. If it's a bit sweet, colorful and served in a martini glass - it might just qualify as a Cosmo.
If you need a basic & most delicious Cosmo, we've got a great recipe in our standard martinis information - but if you are the daring sort, looking for a few modern versions of the Cosmo, then read on. Keep in mind that while a "martini purist" might argue that a Cosmo is not a martini (and we respect all matters of opinion) - our opinion is that if you love it and it makes you happy - then sip on! |

Lime Cosmpolitan Martini |

This tart island adaptation of the Cosmo
Ingredients
The mix
- Add your vodka and lime juice to a shaker 3/4 full of ice and shake for a full minute
- Strain your mix into 2 freezing martini glasses - rimmed with Lime flavored sugar
- Top each glass with 1/2 of your club soda
- Sip and enjoy a cool breeze

Peach Cosmo Martini |

This peach martini is something off the beaten path - quite fashionable!
Ingredients
- 4 ounces Grey Goose vodka
- 1/2 ounce peach schnapps
- 1 ounce chilled peach nectar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 slices of fresh peach
The mix
- Add your vodka, schnapps and vanilla extract into a shaker 1/2 full of cracked ice
- Shake until very cold
- Add the peach nectar and swirl the shaker for an additional minute
- Strain into 2 freezing martini glasses
- Top each glass with a peach slice
- Sip, sip!

Peach-Tini Peach Martini II (AKA Fuzzy Martini II) |

This peach martini recipe is fresh and fruity - a slight departure from our original Peach-Tini. Dont forget to pick up some of our peach flavored cocktail candy rim sugar to finish off the perfect presentation!
Ingredients
- 3 ounces Absolut Apeach (peach flavored vodka)
- 1/2 ounce peach nectar
- 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
- 2 thin slices of fresh peach (frozen or well chilled)
The mix
- Add all of the liquid ingredients into a shaker 3/4 full of cracked ice
- Shake like mad for a full minute
- Strain your fantastic peach martini into two chilled martini glasses
- Top each glass with coconut and 1 slice of peach
- Savor the moment
