  Slippery Banana Pineapple martini

This martini requires some time and patience, so we suggest that you get right to work! It will certainly be worth the effort involved. This martini requires pineapple flavored vodka, and guess what? You have to make your own!

If you can find fresh sliced pineapple, that will make the job easier. Please refrain from using canned. Cut your pineapple into cubes and dump them into a large jar (we used a 'sun-tea' jar with a spout). Cover the pineapple with Stoli vodka and let your jar sit in a cool, dark place for about 1 week. (It is recommended that you do not eat the pineapple...that's the 'slippery' part).

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce of patience while you wait for your Stoli to steep.
  • 4 ounces of Zone banana flavored vodka.
  • 1 ounce of Cointreau.
  • 2 ounces of your pineapple steeped Stoli vodka.
  • 1 ounce of freshly squeezed orange juice.

The mix

  • Pour your liquid ingredients into a shaker 1/2 full of cracked ice.
  • Let your shaker stand for a full two minutes.
  • Stir your drink gently for two minutes and let stand one more minute.
  • Cover your shaker and give a good fifteen shakes.
  • Strain your martini into 2 freezing martini glasses.
  • Serve your delicious martini under a cabana umbrella while listening to Tony Bennett.
