Adrianne Cinnamon Tini Martini

While tending bar at the fabulous Evans Street Station during a special martini event, we met two delightful young ladies that were interested in the finer art of mixing. Unfortunately, one of them was allergic to vodka and did not especially care for gin...but wanted a martini. Wow - talk about being in a pickle. We'll, long story short, this mix is dedicated to Adrianne...we think this is a super martini.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces of S'guarro sugar-free rum (how can rum be sugar free you ask? Keep reading)
  • 3/4 ounce of Goldschlager Cinnamon liquor
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

The mix

  • Add the S Guarro and Goldschlager to a shaker 3/4 full of cracked ice
  • Add a pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Shake like mad
  • Strain your elixir into 2 freezing martini glasses
  • Add 1 cinnamon stick and a pinch of ground cinnamon to each glass
  • Enjoy!

*We opted to use Sguarro as the base spirit because of it is clear, crisp and is a fantastic vodka stand in. Sguarro's amazingly smooth taste begins with pure, naturally grown sugar cane, which is column distilled. The result is a low level of impurity and no remaining trace of sugar or carbohydrates.
