While there is nothing scientific about our reviews, we do use plenty of vodka and gin when mixing up the best martini recipes to offer you. We also use plenty of vodka and gin after hours - but that is a another story!
Just so you know, we have no affiliation with any liquor company and no financial ties to any brands. What you are reading here is our unadulterated opinion...opinions born from hours of creative martini mixing, and a healthy dose of curiosity!

Charbay Meyer Lemon Vodka |
 It's not a set up and we are not pandering to any vodka makers - we are simply batting a thousand here. Another 5 star rating for the fine folks at Charbay for producing an amazing line of superb vodkas. Among the fantastically unique selection of flavors is Meyer Lemon, and we love it.
The team at Charbay uses only the finest, natural ingredients to flavor their vodkas and it clearly shows. Since we completed our testing and review, we've gone back to Charbay for much more experimentation (stay tuned).
It is no mystery that the MartiniGuy loves a solid, dirty vodka martini with a lemon splash- and Charbay Meyer Lemon is the perfect vodka to use. The natural lemon flavoring is mouth watering and truly enhances the silky, smooth texture of the vodka. The lemon flavoring is so well incorporated into the spirits that this elixir is sure to inspire mixing creativity - yielding excellent results time after time.
Whether you are mixing up a fresh Cosmo, Lemon Drop martini or a dirty martini with a lemon kick - grab some Charbay. You'll fall in love with it just like we did.
We must also mention their Blood Orange, Pomegranate and Green Tea vodkas are waiting patiently in our lab for more experimentation!

| DiVine Vodka |

 DiVine Vodka is lovingly produced at the Round Barn Winery & Distillery. DiVine is the Mid-West's first ultra-premium estate vodka. This vodka is made from grapes, and each bottle is hand signed before being "released."
We are based in Michigan, and lucky for us, so is Round Barn! We discovered these folks as we were on a road trip. We purchased 2 bottles and off we went, back to the martini mixing lab.
Our first concoction was a very dirty martini with some hand stuffed bleu cheese olives. Next up was a traditional Cosmo martini. DiVine lives up to it's name - it is truly divine! This vodka is balanced, crisp and amazingly smooth. Even at room temperature it held many of the characteristics that shine through when well chilled. We are thrilled to offer up a 5 olive rating for our first review!

Hendrick's Gin |
 Hendrick's in no ordinary gin!
For those of you who have never heard of Hendrick's gin you are in for a treat.
This fantastically magical gin combines both cucumbers and rose petals (among a ton of other ingredients) that make for an awesome taste experience. Hendrick's arrives in an interesting dark brown bottle with a cork stopper; we're suckers for cork stoppers versus screw caps. Once you uncork the bottle, you'll immediately know that you are in for something special.
The cucumber shines through--and we strongly suggest adding a cucumber garnish to enhance an already perfect martini. We sipped our way through the entire bottle during our experiments and couldn't wait to get more (of course, we waited until we were sober to make the trip).
Hendrick's gin is sure to not only please, but to inspire some very creative martini mixing!

| Tom & Shelley Super Vodka |
 The team at Martiniart.com give a hearty "Thank You" to our friends Tom and Shelley on providing us with a super special treat!
This hand-crafted, hand bottled vodka offers a palate sensation well beyond any words we could find to describe it...if only it was available for purchase. Calling this fine elixir "Super Vodka" is an understatement as it certainly packs a punch, but it is so amazingly smooth and delicious.
Unlike many mass produced brands, Tom and Shelley have created a super crystal clear vodka that is perfect for any mix. We actually prefer this vodka straight up and super freezing with a dash of olive brine. The smooth finish of this fine liquid involves just a suggestion of fruit on the tongue and is absolutely perfection in a bottle.
We lament the fact that you wont be able to purchase this wonderful vodka (not yet, at least), but we could not resist posting a review as we are so flattered to have been the recipient of such a rare gift.
